Killing Evil (Short story)

I crouched behind the counter, breathing heavily. The monster was coming my way, it's footstep inching closer, and closer. I couldn't even think about anything, much less a way to slip past the towering creature. I thought about my life, and how I got here.

"C'mon man! Don't keep me waitin'!The enemies ain't gonna kill themselves!" I ran towards the entrance of the old warehouse as my teammate Bobby yelled. The orders were simple; Kill everyone, get out. Our competitors; a 5-men unit. It's the five of them against the three of us. We broke into the warehouse, and they had their guns pointed at us. The five-men terrorist elite unit, each wielding stolen M41As, pointed their guns at us. They shouted at us, "Put guns down! Put guns down, we will not hurt you." Under the threat of the guns, me, Bobby and Johnny laid our M16s on the ground, raising our hands in the air. A terrorist with a blue scarf, perhaps the leader, stepped forward and spoke, "Your hands. Put hands behind back." We did as we were told, but I reached for the two hidden throwing knives in the back of my uniform. I plucked them out and threw it at the two terrorists in front of us. the knives hit them square in the chest and they fell to the ground, dead. The other two had their guns aimed at me as they readied the shot. Bobby picked up a rock and threw it at them while Johnny scooped up his rifle and shot them. The leader pointed his M4A1 at us, ready to shoot, but then his eyes started to change.
His brown eyes suddenly turned red, and started flashing. His eyes, now red as blood, shone like a torch in the dimly lit warehouse. He howled and screamed as he knelt on the ground, his hands holding his head. Then he started melting. His body started melting and dissolving as a towering pillar of red anergy shot out of his mouth. Bobby dropped his gun, "I ain't fightin' that guys. I'll be at the exit if ya need me." And then he charged outside. Johnny shook his head, "Nope. Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope." He turned around and ran.
I was left alone in the warehouse as the energy pillar formed a humanoid shape. The red dimmed down, revealing a towering, huge, monster. It was covered in a brown, hardened shell. It's singular, round eye shone a gleaming red, and it let out a snarl. It turned it's head at my direction, so I took my rifle and ran behind a crate, trying to hide.
The creature headed towards my direction. I panicked and jumped out behind the crate, shooting the creature in the head. The lead was simply lodged in it's hardened shell. It continued it's course as I emptied my clip.
I ran towards the counter, and a flash of silver caught my eye. it was a modified flamethrower. I read the label; Chemical Thrower PROTOTYPE. The label on the pack of the dispenser read; Acid. I took the Chemical thrower and mounted it on my back.
I ran out from the counter, my new weapon aiming at the monstrous creature. It charged at me as I pushed the lever, a stream of chemical spraying towards the monster. It stumbled backwards, the acid melting it's hard shell, it's insides turning into a liquified mess, oozing out of the melting wound.
It fell onto the ground, melting into a pile of brown, steaming liquid.
I walked out of the warehouse, chemical thrower in hand. Bobby looked at me and asked, "What. Happened?"I smiled, "It melted. I shot him with acidic chemical waste." Bobby laughed, "I guess you could say... you WASTED him." Johnny laughed even harder, and we walked back to the base, enjoying a nice burger on the way.

tanks introduction and tactics ( start from 16:39)

I am the driver of a heavy tank called T29 (Tier 29). I have got James, Rocky and Wesley to be my buddies. We have been in different battles. We are real friends. We are actually stick together. James is the one who help watching out and detect the enemy tanks. Rocky is the one insert the canon into the 120mm gun. It could penetrate the armour of all kinds of tanks. As he is full of muscle, so he is called 'Rocky'. Wesley is the tank repairman. Oh yes, I also control when to open fire and turn the gun turret. Everyone is important in running a tank well.

James look at the other tanks, which are in the same team as mine. There are France, Chinese, Britain, American,German and Russian tanks. I love the German tank, Maus. It has a thick armour which there are few canons can penetrate it. It has explosive canons which can blow up tanks easier than using others. But it is too expensive. Also it is too slow and it must be accompanied by the other medium and heavy tanks.

You might want to see if our nation's tanks are good. I think they just persist the thought of sacrifice.
A tank expert said that China tanks are fast and they have penetrative canons. However, they may not accustom to snipering, as their canons are only effective  in short distance. So if they don't get in front of the enemy tanks, they lose their advantages. In terms of 'sacrifice', the best tactic to blow up another tank is using two China tanks to hold a tank between them and taking turns to fire their canons, the tank being attacked would quickly crushed. And we can see the front armour of China tanks are rather thicker. But this is not always seen in tanks battle and I haven't seen anyone united together since I attended it. So I don't really love to have one China tank.

For Russian tanks. They are easily handled in different types. There are anti-tank tanks, this type of tank is the fear of all the tanks, but one of the biggest of their disadvantage is that they cannot turn the turret as their recoil is too strong . And their tanks are fast and not easily broken down. However, they have rather less powerful gun to the others. For its tactic to attack, they simply just play merry-go-around with their enemies. In World War II, a tiger tank (a type of German tank) which has a rather thick armour was blown up under two Russian medium tanks. A interesting discovery found that if you want to turn the Tiger tank for one circle, it will need ten handturns for the lever. So they just used their advantages, quick speed and aimed to the disadvantage of the Tiger tank, the slow turning of the turret and successfully damaged the Tiger tank. It is one of my favourite kind of tank.

For the France tanks, I only know that their light tanks are good but I love medium tanks more and France isn't good at manufacturing high quality medium and heavy tanks, so France tanks are the least favorite tank of mine.

For American tanks, which I am driving one of its heavy tank now, are my most favourite. For anti-tank tanks, they have got two types. One cannot turn its turret and one can turn the turret. Of course, they aren't like another one, they don't have so penetrative canons. However, their mobility is better so I love them. And I also love my heavy tank T29. American tanks are well known of its thick armour of the turret, even many anti-tank tanks' canons could not penetrate it. So I am playing a important role in slope. When I got on the slope, I could get attention from the enemies tanks and they just shot at my turret. But it was too strong, so they have been continuously shooting for 2 minutes but nothing happens. At last they just rushed over the slope and shot me. I was dead of course but I still damaged two medium tanks and I also earned 2 minutes for our team to occupy the enemy base.

Now the battle began, you will have to wait for my another passage about 'flag capturing'

Hello everybody, Kenneth here.
I just had an idea, a challenge. I'm not going to force anyone to do this, but if you do, put the label 1-hour challenge on your post.
Basically, it goes like this: You try to write a piece of work under 1-hour(No cheating, guys), and post your result to the label 1-Hour Challenge. How does that sound?

Writing Party's 1st 1-Hour Challenge, START!

The Spy (3:00-4:00, I think)

It was late night,I dashed down the corridor, expecting guards.
But all I could hear was silence, good. I approached a guard standing by the door, rifle in hand. I took out my knife as I approached him, smiling as I stabbed him in the back. He grunted, and dropped dead. "Peek-a-boo, I see you." I said, adding a laugh at the end of the sentence. Five minutes later I was dressed in the man's uniform, leaving his poor body in a store room. I proceeded to the data room of the fortress. I walked into some guards, casually greeting them as I pasted them.
I entered a room with a maze like structure, searching for the intel I was paid to find. I walked past numerous guards, all armed. I approached a large briefcase, knowing that the intelligence I wanted was inside. I looked at the guards, catching one of them scowling at me, "Hey knucklehead, what you lookin' at? Get back to work! We don't want no intruders." I sighed and pretended to stand in front of the briefcase. "That's more like it." He commented. I put my hand on the handle of my revolver, looking around, my eyes hidden in the helmet. I pulled out the revolver and shot at the wall, a few meters away from the guards. Another guard shrieked, "What are you doing? You could've killed me!" I shrugged, "I thought I saw someone over there." The 3 guards looked in the same direction. I reloaded my revolver and shot the three of them in the back.
One of them looked up from the ground, his body covered in blood, "Wh...Why? You...betrayed us."
I took off my helmet, smiling, "I was never one of you. Thank you, dear...comrade."I shot again, this time aiming at his head. laughing.
I put my helmet back on, knife in one hand, briefcase in another as I strolled through the almost empty corridor. I saw two guards, talking to each other. One of them had their backs to me, and the other one facing me, but they hadn't noticed me yet. I readied my knife, walking towards the two guards. I stabbed the first one in the neck, he shrieked. The guard in front of him looked shocked as I stabbed the knife into his stomach, leaving him there to bleed, to die. I walked out of the empty fortress, whistling as I walked into the night, their valuable secrets in hand.

Child of Wrath: Ch.1

Chapter 1:  Cleaning the Nest
Present day

I rushed to the briefing room, knocking over some people and getting some rather angry stares in the process. But I couldn’t care less. If I didn’t get to the briefing room by 12:30p.m, I’m dead.
How did I get here? Well, I guess some explanation is needed. My name is Cole Damon, 17, and currently working as a soldier/special agent at SURMOUNT. SURMOUNT stands for Supernatural Threat Monitoring Unit, a secret organization run by a bunch of supernatural beings, with our immortal boss, Noah Logan the old wizard in charge. We monitor and assess supernatural or abnormal threats, and then we act accordingly. And by the way, almost everyone here possesses supernatural powers or is a being/creature straight from mythology, even me. I’m a half-blood, the son of the great demon Amon, a.k.a. Wrath. I guess you could say I graduated here, finishing the Camp Training program at 14 and being designated to the Shadow Division, an elite team of 12 people because of my potential as the son of a devil.
I glanced at my watch. Time is of the essence.
          12:28… 12:29…
I barged into the briefing room, where my team was already waiting for me. My squad’s captain, Captain Norman Adams looked at me with his usual stern expression and said, “Just on time, Damon. Sit down, briefing’s about to start.” The captain turned around and started the briefing.
“30 minutes ago, we received a transmission from one of our men at a police department, detailing a call from a family reporting about Coaldale in Nevada, USA. They report seeing a man turning into a wolf and then running away, we think that the incident might be related to lycans, boss commissioned us to check the cottage out. Shoot first, ask questions later. Gear up.” After the last word was said, Captain Adams walked out of the briefing room, heading to the lockers.
I opened my locker, looking at my familiar matte black armor. Finding myself staring at the insignia for my division, a blue-black flame with a gray cross in the middle. I took it out and started to equip myself with my armor and my weapons. The captain looked at us after we were done, “Let’s go.” And with that, our 4-man squad headed towards the chopper.
“You ready to jump, Damon?” I glanced at the pilot, who was asking the question. “Been doing this my whole life!” I yelled back. I yanked the chopper’s door open. “Woah! Watch the merchandise man, this chopper’s new!” The pilot scolded. But I didn’t care, all I cared was the space between me and the dry sand of Nevada. I took a deep breath, and jumped.
Our squad didn’t need parachutes, I’m not going to lie. All of us can utilize some of our powers to land safely. Even our captain, who’s a normal person, can somehow use the Tech Department’s prototype teleportation device to land.
I focused my thoughts as I soared through the air. And then my whole body shifted into a tendril of shadow, plummeting towards the earth. A few seconds later, all my teammates had begun their descent and landed safely. Adams pointed towards a town with a sign “Welcome to Coaldale” and said, “Let’s see what this is all about.”

Quintin couldn’t believe it. He couldn’t believe that all his friends were killed by those… freaks. Werewolves and vampires and whatnot, he always thought they were stories used to scare off little children. Not now, now he had seen the very definition of a living and breathing vampire (they breathe, right?) and the werewolves were nothing like the ones he saw on TV. Red eyes, sharp teeth, and worst of all, they can turn into gigantic wolves whenever they want. Just great.
His friends and him were all adventurers, few of them were even conspiracy theorists. Weeks ago, his conspiracy theorist friend Billy suggested to take a trip to ghost town Coaldale, to check out the “government experiments” there. Being adventurers, of course they agreed, and here he is, the sole survivor of his adventurous band of friends. The death of his friends led him to believe that the werewolves and vampires were escaped government experiments, and using the techniques he remembered from all those hours of watching movies and TV, he chopped his way through half a dozen of those freaks with an axe he found, a gas mask he also found, and his hiking gear.
He’d been trying to establish connections to the outside world for days, but he was trapped in a net of creatures that can chop his head off without any second thought, so he found a cave and settled in, trying to survive.
That’s when he heard a roar. He took out the axe, and he headed out, ready to kill. He walked out of his hut, making sure no one saw him, but he couldn’t believe what he saw; The werewolf was pushing a man against a wall trying to bite him, but the man… the man had an armor on, some kind of SWAT armor, the government finally came here to take out the trash, huh? Quintin approached the werewolf quickly, jabbing the axe into the creature’s back. The creature let out a howl as it staggered backwards, trying to reach the wound on its back. He hacked again, this time bringing the creature onto the ground. He swung the axe again and again, making sure the wolf is dead. When he lifted his axe, the wolf’s head was completely decapitated and blood was everywhere. The government agent took off his helmet, showing an expression of gratitude. But there was one thing that startled Quintin. The agent had unkempt, black hair and gleaming red eyes. But he was a kid, 18 at most. What kind of sick government sends teenagers to fight their messed up experiments? He gathered his courage and asked the boy, “Who are you?”

I looked at the man who just saved my life. Tired, brown eyes staring at me through a gas mask, messy brown hair and a bloody axe, a definition of a serial killer everybody. He took off his gas mask and looked at me. Aside from messy hair and tired eyes, he also has a wild look on his face, a look that only appeared on people who had started to believe the unbelievable. He asked me the question I knew he’d ask, “Who are you?” I stared at him a little longer before speaking, “Cole Damon, Government Agent.” The man seemed satisfied with my answer as he spoke with uncertainty, “Quitin. Quintin Randall. Nice to meet you, Cole.” He held out his hand. I hastily shook it, and asked him, “What are you doing here? Coaldale’s a ghost town. No one’s been here since 1933.” The man, Quintin, rolled his eyes and replied, “I… I came here with some of my friends, they’re a bunch of conspiracy theorists. Thought that Coaldale might have some kind of secret government thing going on. Apparently that’s true.” I could see that he was talking about the lycans infesting the area. “So… what’s with the gas mask?” He glanced at his mask, “Oh this? I thought those vampire things could emit toxic gas when they disappear, better safe than sorry.” So now we have vampires and lycans. Great. “I…need a minute, I need to talk to my boss.” I walked away and put on the helmet, turning on the intercom system in the helmet. “Boss? I got a civilian here. Armed, but he’s cool. He saved my life and he’s been camping out here for a week, he says. Says he encountered lycans and vamps. What do we do?” Captain Adams replied, “Take him to rendezvous, I’ll see if I can get a larger chopper on our way back.” He cut the line, leaving my helmet in silence. I turned to Quintin and said, “My boss wants you to follow me, get you to some place safe, capiche?” Quintin stared at me as he put on his mask. “Let’s go then.” He said, rather sheepishly.
15 minutes later we reached the rendezvous point, where my team was already waiting for me. Captain Adams looked at Quintin before saying, “That’s the civilian you found?” I rolled my eyes, “Yes, He took out a werewolf and saved me.” I faintly heard my teammates smirk as the captain continued, “Levy, stay with the civilian here at rendezvous. The others and I will take out the boss of this town.” Levy the sorcerer nodded. He’s 60 years old, but the slowed aging that comes with his powers made him look like he’s in his 20s. Levy looked at Quintin and said in his best emotionless voice, “Stay here, and you’ll be fine.” Quintin nodded as he watched the three of us wander into the town.
We found ourselves in front of an arranged circle of huts after half an hour of bloodshed. Every living creature has an aura, vampires and werewolves are not an exception. As a perk of being the son of a deity with enormous power, I can usually sense aura within 20 meters and identify the owner of the aura, I can also shoot hellfire from my hands as a bonus. This time there were about half a dozen werewolves, some vampires and a strong vampire, probably the boss. I reported my findings to Captain Adams, who told us to leave the boss alive if possible. I glanced at the opening, guarded by some vampires. Adams gave me a signal and we rushed towards the entrance. The vampire immediately spotted me and tried to aim at me, but I burned him to dust with my small fireballs. We advanced further into the hastily made complex of huts, battling wolves and vamps. I charged at a vampire, only to slip on some blood of a werewolf, I had to admit that I was not the best at reflexes and agility. I fell, and the vampire chuckled as he approached, knife in hand. But then, a black flash appeared and the vampire stopped. He looked down on his chest, realizing that his heart was dug out. He fell, his body turning into dust. Standing there was my colleague and friend, 130 years-old vampire Solomon Briggs. He was of course, famous for digging his victim’s heart out, especially the unlawful rogues running wild in this city. He smirked and said, “Watch your step, Damon. I won’t be there next time.” I pulled myself up, assuring him, “There won’t be a next time, Solomon.”
A man walked out of a tent, dressed in a tan jacket and a black shirt. He took off his shades and looked at us with his pale blue eyes, his aura flashing a bloody red. “Welcome,” he said, “So gentleman, what is the matter? Surely we can…negotiate.” He briefly glanced at the dead bodies of his men and sighed, “Now look at what you’ve done, they were my best men, officers. You could’ve asked for my presence instead of slaughtering all my men, there was no need for this bloodshed.” Adams took a step forward and announced, “Sir, I am Captain Norman Adams of SURMOUNT. I am suspecting that you and your men are involved in unlawful activities. I would have to kindly ask you to step away from the tent and put your hands where I can see them.” The vampire also took another step forward, mimicking the captain’s voice, “I am Yuri, the owner of this…town. And it is none of your business that my men and I are involved in any sort of activity.” I could feel the captain’s confusion, but he asked, “Yuri, eh? Can I have the last name and the registration number?” Yuri the vampire stood there for a moment, silent. The captain shrugged and said, “No registration number? So you’re a rogue, an unregistered.” Yuri snorted and replied, “Registration? My men and I are not the dogs of the government, captain. Not like you. We were born to be more superior than humans, and we have no need to protect them and live by their rules, officer. We do what we please.” Captain Adams took out his pistol and aimed it at Yuri, “Sir, if you do not surrender, we will be forced to use lethal forces to take you down. I will ask you one more time: Step away from the tent and put your hands where I can see them.”
Yuri’s bloody aura flashed for another moment before he disappeared. He reappeared behind Adams, trying to subdue him. But I was faster. I drew out my pistol and shot him in the arm. He howled and turned to me, his pale eyes burning with rage. He dashed towards me, trying to attack me, but I dodged at the last minute and shot him with a fireball. The fireball burned right through the tan jacket and shirt, directly burning his back. He screamed as he tried to put the fire out. The fire burnt a nasty mark on his back, but he was strong enough to resist the full effect of the fireball. He took out a Desert Eagle, aiming at my face as I ducked. The gun let out a sharp “Bang!” as the bullet soared right above my head. Yuri frowned as he dashed towards me again, this time with a knife. I drew my pistol aiming at him as he came at me. I shot twice, and it struck his jaw. He halted to examine his injury. He wiped the blood off his jaw as he extracted the bullet from his chin. The wound healed almost instantly. I was stunned by the speed of his ability to regenerate his flesh. This time I drew my dagger. This dagger however, is not just any dagger. My dad gave it to me on my 14th birthday to celebrate my successful graduation from the boot camp. Forged by the best blacksmiths in Hell and made from the finest steel they could find in Purgatory, it was a weapon that could kill any creature under 150 and injure anyone older than 150, he guaranteed. I gripped the intricate handle tightly and the tip of the blade started glow a bright orange, a reaction that happens when I transfer the hellfire to the dagger, concentrating the power to a single point.
He charged at me, with his steel blade pointed at me. I readied my dagger. He slashed at me as I countered with a vertical swipe, his steel blade broke instantly as it made contact with my hellfire-imbued blade. Yuri was shocked as I dug the blade into his arm. He staggered back and shrieked.   Solomon quickly advanced, putting handcuffs around his wrists, and the altered handcuffs suppressed the vampire blood in Yuri, stripping him of his powers. He gasped for breath as Solomon pressed him against the wall, asking, “So let’s start with the simple questions. Who’s your boss?” Yuri stared at Solomon as he gritted his teeth, “Jack… Jack O’ Lantern, as they called him.” The captain sighed and said, “Dead Man’s Army, huh?” Yuri arched an eyebrow and said, “I thought the dog tags made iwwst clear.” Adams looked at his collar. Sure enough, dog tags with “Yuri, Vampire” and “Dead Man’s Army” carved on the surface of the tags. The Dead Man’s Army is an infamous group of unregistered rogues that worked as mercenaries. As the name implied, they were an army, led by the infamous warlock Jack “O’ Lantern” and his second-in commands, Alistair and Dan.
Solomon let go of Yuri, who is now kneeling on the ground. Yuri spat in disgust as casted a glance of hatred towards Adams and me, “You’re nothing but the dogs of the Regency, and when they have no use for you, they will send a pack of their hunters against you. Mark my words, officers. You will find this advice very useful.” And with that, He fainted, falling face-first onto the sand. Solomon shrugged, “Well, do we bring him back, or what?” Adams shrugged, and nodded, “Let’s get him back to the base.” He then instructed Solomon to haul him back to the rendezvous point while he called the base to send a containment vehicle and a team of “Janitors” to clean up Coaldale’s dead bodies.
15 minutes later I was sitting in a slightly larger airplane. To my right was Levy, who was silently reading , to my left was a nervous Quintin, glancing at everyone constantly. That’s when my phone rang.
I took it out from my pocket inside the armor and picked up the phone.
“Hello? Who is this?”
“Cole, it’s me, Lucy.” Lucy Grimm is my childhood friend, she is also the daughter of the great Lucifer.
“Ah. It’s been some time since we last met, what do you want?” We last met 7 years ago, right before I left for SURMOUNT.
“We need to talk. You need to come down here. Where are you?”
“I’m on a plane, on my way back to base. But the closest portal to Base is in-“ Lucy cut me off before I could even finish my sentence.
“The closest portal to your base is in your room, Cole. Your dad put it there on your 14th birthday, meet me at the exit as soon as you land, understand?”
“Fine.” I sighed.
And then she cut the line.

Sniper in a battlefield

I am standing very still, holding a sniper rifle. I could feel its weight, it makes me think of a huge rock. I am standing on the grassland with other soldiers, each holding different guns. Several tanks and armoured vehicles. A helicopter was quietly standing on the big 'H'. Suddenly, a sound resounds in my brain." Warriors, you are in a dangerous task. You will have to capture all 4 bases as soon as you can. Enemy would compete with your speed, shooting accuracy etx. Please be reminded that you will be out of it in case you die. Any team reached scores to 1000 will win. 1 score for killing and 2 scores for conquering bases. Okay, then start!'

My buddies start running to the vehicles so I just follow them onto the vehicles. According to the history, snipers were working on their own. They weren't like a group of troops. They were in single. They had to have good camouflage, good shooting accuracy and the most important thing, their minds. They had to be absolutely calm when they were down to a very bad condition like being surrounded by a group of soldiers. What was worse was that they would suffer from torment if they were captured. Luckily, I would not be captured by the others in this place.

I have a plan. And I wait. When the vehicle is speeding through a yielded village which is a mess, I carefully landed on the ground which is cover with soft grass. It is not very painful when I was dropped down to the ground, as it is really soft and I am sliding down the slope, it reduced my speed. I looked at the yielded village joyfully, it will be the best place for me, the sniper, who want people's lives quietly.

I swop my sniper rifle to a pistol. I walk carefully into a old, rickety house. Snipers love these places very much as it offers a broader view and in case anyone walks near the place, you can quickly hide yourself into any corner and start shooting the invader while he doesn't know where you are. It will be very fuunny and exciting if I come across this thing. After I have checked the ground floor, I walk up the creaky stairs. I try to not to make the sound but it is like too weak to support anyone. I become alerted so I take out the flashbang. When I am going to throw the flashbang, I found something was inserted into the ground. It is a clamore. There is two kinds of clamore. The first kind is a sensor clamore if it senses anyone moving, it will explode, but the force isn't stronger than the next one. Another kind is older one, it was used to crack tanks open, but now people improved it and made it smaller but still very powerful.

I carefully jump over it as it is not the sensor one. I grip my pistol and the deathly silent has surrounded me, my hands are shaking vigrously. I don't want to die so soon after I have started the match. I jump when I reach the end of the stairs and look around me and find no one is existing on the second floor and their is no third floor. Then I noticed a body. He is lying on the ground, motionless. I walk near him and find he was shot in the chest. Blood is streaming down his jacket and he is a member of our team, a sniper. I am suddenly horrified, a person was shot dead before I come, so this place might be keeping sight. I quickly and smoothly hide behind a wall and take my helmet and wave it on the broken window. I have been waving it for 12 minutes but no one shoots it so I cautiously and slowly crawl out of the wall.

I slowly put my sniper rifle on the window and cover it with some soot which can help the disguise. I has been waiting for my fish to go into the area where I am putting down my bait, look like safe in appearance for ten minutes. I tell myself to calm down and be patient. Patient is one of the features of a excellent sniper.

In the two Koreas war, a chinese sniper called Zhang Tao Fang had a killing match with another skillful American sniper. Two of them had to shoulder the task to kill another sniper. Zhang had been lying in the grass for one hour long. He was sure that his deadly opponent was just opposite of him. Mosquitoes was biting him. The 'sharp' grass was tickling him.
But he had to wait, not until his opponent exposed himself first. One hour and fifteen minutes, Zhang suddenly heard the sound to slithering in the grass. It was very short but Zhang has already turned his rifle to the place where the sound was made. He looked at the grass in that area carefully and find some grass is pointing to two sides, his opponent had exposed his position. He calmed himself down and put his rifle lower and he could barely see one shimmering eye. It is enough for a sniper to kill another. So he aimed one of his eye and shot. Bloods flew from it and a sniper rifle was lying on the ground helplessly. He knew he succeeded it. He slowly crawled to the man being shot by him and confirmed that he was the man he had to kill.

Suddenly, a vehicle's growl wakes me up from that thrilling match. A enemy vehicle is driving past me slowly as they get many shots, so weak. I quickly seize the chance and shoot. One of my cold-blood bullet soars through the thin air and the enemy soldier who is holding a heavy machine gun rolls down his seat. The driver doesn't notice his mate's death as a skillful sniper should try his best not to gain any attention. I shoot again and the bullet speeds and crash open the window, and the driver flies out from his seat and the vehicle slowed down a bit. I breathe deeply and relieved, I am now the one with highest kills and deaths in my team.

I just wait and three fish 'swim' into my hunting area and they cannot get a chance to escape from my cold-blood bullets. They just lie there and everyone ignore them. I wait for ten minutes and find no fish in the area, so I search for the map. I am planning another place to put the bait down. Then, I see a tall mountain in the map, it will probably be another best place for me. So I go down the stairs and jump over the the clamore and stop a while at the doorway as I have to check if if it is safe to run now.

Then, I sprint towards the mountain. When I see the earth in front of me spurt some of it out, I know I am discovered by the others. But I don't care, I have to get to the destination as soon as I can. Then I hear another vehicle growls. A tank is speeding towards me, it wants to bump me flying. I wonder why it does not shoot me with its powerful canon. It is still speeding towards me maddeningly. I know I will have no chance to escape from this disaster. I am going to exit this place. You should know that no one can run faster than a vehicle on a smooth and flat land. So I just stand there, waiting for my death. It is a sudden that I realized something is flying across the land, chasing the raging tank. Then it is a sudden the vehicle goes up and dark across the shining sun. Then it just lies there on fire. I know that someone uses his RPG to blow up this monstrous vehicle. Then I continue to run as more enemies will come after this blast.

Finally, I reach there. I hold my pistol tightly again, as everywhere has danger lurking. Then I hear someone is shooting upside the mountain so I crouch and crawl slowly up to it. Then, I find an enemy sniper is shooting across the pile grassland. So I hold my knife and walk close to him. I am so nervous that if he turns, I am finished. Three steps, two steps and one step. He is too concentrate on his shooting and doesn't keep an eye for his surrounding and safety. So I stab him easily, so he drops his rifle and bloods are splashing out of his wound. He will not move again. So I replace his snipering
position.

When I open my scope, I find seven of us are surrounding a village. Then I zoom closer and find some enemies hiding in properties and giving supressing fire to the ones attacking the village. As I am on a high position, so it is easy for me to shoot them dead, as the wall around them is not too high. So I take my first shot and hit a man square on his head. The fingers tightly clinging on the trigger  slowly loosen. Then, his mates keep running everywhere. I can see that they are yelling something like " Sniper somewhere!!" I shoot again and the bullet soars through the air and go through his leg and he falls down. Then the others hid inside houses. Now the ones want to clear out this village can go into the village without any of them hurt. After three minutes, they have stopped firing. I see the soldier list and find a sniper still alive and I am still at the top of the team.

I open my scope again and search for the last enemy. I would look into already-fallen properties. I know no sniper will be wondering on the street and wait for the others to kill them. They would stay in a particular place and wait for his prey. Then when I am searching for the sniper, a bullet hits me on my stomach and I am bleeding heavily. 17 HP left. I turn my rifle and see a mask, I know it is him. It will be killing match, I aim on his head and shoot but he is swift so he has shot me before I shoot him. Then I feel the pain is running through my body. I only have ten seconds left to my death, so I grab this chance to message my teamates. " Attention to area F6" Then I slowly close my eyes and I feel a strength pull me backwards. Then I am in complete darkness.

It is a second after I know that I can open my eyes. I am sitting on a chair and wires attach to my head. I am wearing a military uniform and someone suddenly tap me on my shoulder. I turn my head and see another man wearing the same cloth but with one more star on each of his shoulder. Then he calls me " Frankie, you have completely involved in this fictitious battle. You are the best sniper we have ever seen, so I order you to go to the sniper training camp." So I salute him and said." Yes Sir."
